I’m putting this site on a short hiatus. School is taking it’s toll on me and I just can’t steal some time to sit down and update my sites. Don’t worry, it’s not for too long. In early July everything’s over and I can add all those goodies I have saved for you guys. See you in July! :)

Actress Liv Tyler was lighting up the day for a group of New Yorkers this week. The acting beauty was subject to a series of wolf whistles and admiring glances as she passed by a group of delighted men in her Big Apple neighbourhood. And the screen star took it all in her stride as she smiled and giggled at the extra attention. It’s a rare appearance of the actress, who is currently taking a break from her film work to focus on modelling.

Mia Tyler, the 31-year-old daughter of Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler, has launched an as-yet-unnamed management company for young, up-and-coming artists in the rock and metal genres. Regarding her decision to pursue a career in the music business, Mia told Blabbermouth.net, “Working in the music industry has always been something I have wanted to do. I made the decision this year to pursue this more and get into the management side of things. With all the friends I have in the music industry it just seems fitting and I’d like to think I am good at it. I’m sick of the Hollywood B.S. anyways. “I have been working with bands to help guide them in the right direction. So management just seems more fitting.”

G-Star’s RAW Gallery will be set up in the Grand Gateway shopping mall in Shanghai, China. Liv Tyler will be present for the opening on May 28th and for interviews, dinner and a party on May 29th. The RAW Gallery will stay in the shopping mall for a week and is set up in close collaboration with our Chinese retail partner. The RAW Gallery will showcase various denim objects as well as collection pieces from the RAW Essentials.
